Kate was born in Yorkshire some time ago, and now lives in Essex, where she belongs to a small pride of cats. She aims to be the second or third most famous person from her school.
After working in an airport, a lab, and various shops, Kate decided she prefers her human interactions to be mostly fictional, and has been a full-time author since 2005.
Her romance novels come in flavours such as fantasy, sci-fi, contemporary, historical and mystery, and have won several awards, including the Romantic Novel of the Year in the Paranormal category, with Max Seventeen.
Under the name Cat Marsters she also published award-winning erotic romance.
