I'm ranked higher than Stephanie Meyer.

That is all.

  1. See, WE all knew that. It's just taken the rest of the world a little while to catch up.

  2. Sophie would kick Bella's ass. And the rest of us would enjoy watching it!

Kate, anything new on getting this series back on track? I was thrilled to see Ugley Business come out on the Kindle, just spent the last day reading it & absolutely crippled with laughter. Even if you have to self publish the rest, these are too good to let languish on your hard drive any longer!

  3. Well, heck, you write better than she does. LOL

  4. Well, I've never actually read Stephanie Meyer, so I can't really comment...however, with those kind of sales she must be doing something right!

  5. Victoria--she'd kick anyone's ass. If there was chocolate on offer.

So far there are no plans to publish any more books, but perhaps the interest in 12LOC might revive interest in the series, and that can only help.

I'm happy it was #1 and free! I downloaded it a few days ago and have now bought, downloaded and read all the Sophie Green books. I was hoping to find more books of yours. They really made me laugh at a time when I needed a laugh.

    Thanks!

  7. I discovered Sophie Green when I found "The Twelve Lies of Christmas" on the Kindle's most popular list. I promptly bought and read the other four and have now gone off and bought a bunch of the Cat Marsters books. Will there be more Sophie Green books? Please?

  8. Hi Mary & Anon!

I'm so glad you've enjoyed the series. Unfortunately, while I'd planned the series to go on longer--and had in fact written a further three books--the first four sold very badly, and my publisher Samhain is understandably reluctant to invest in any more. As it stands, the fifth book will not be published.

I've had some great reader feedback like yours, however, and it's wonderful to know people are actually enjoying my books! I do hope you'll spread the word to your friends, and please tell Samhain how much you enjoyed the series, and maybe, if things improve, another book will get picked up.
