Off to the coast

I'll be away for a week, don't think I'm neglecting you or anything. Since I'm in that lovely period between finishing one book and getting stuck into the next, it's really good timing to take a holiday (all planned this way, I assure you). I'll be in Southwold, on the east coast, and fingers crossed the weather will stay as pleasant as it's been lately.

When I come back, I shall be preparing for the RNA's summer party--oh dear God, what shoes will I wear??--and a trip to the US Embassy. It's all one big social whirl, darlings.
