Romance as art

Well. Sort of.

From the Sunday Times' Style magazine (sorry it's a bit spotty, I had to scan it in since I can't seem to find it on the Times website). I still haven't decided who's being ironic here, the columnist Jessica Brinton, or the admittedly eccentric Jake and Dinos Chapman. I do hope they're not all being serious.

Thoughts? Comments?

  1. Sorry, words have just failed me.

  2. "Reading a romance is the last vestige of human desperation."

That quote either is just plain stupid, or full of crap. I can't quite decide but these jokers look to be a bit hard to take seriously.

  3. It's probably supposed to be ironic. You know, like the Alanis Morisette song.
